META - Manufacturing Execution & Traceability Application
Internal manufacturing workflow platform for work order execution, warehouse movement, quality inspection, and end-to-end traceability.
Digitalization Context
META is being developed as an ongoing MES MVP where shopfloor transactions are being aligned into one operational flow. The direction is practical digitalization: turning disconnected request, picking, production, inspection, movement, and traceability steps into one auditable MES transaction chain for stamping and welding assembly operations.
Business Problem
Manufacturing execution, material movement, inspection, and traceability often live across disconnected operational steps. META is structured to connect work order release, job card execution, movement, quality, warehouse, and genealogy into one system so that RM, WIP, FI, FG, and delivery references no longer depend on fragmented manual tracking.
My Contribution
Designed the modular UI structure, transaction-oriented warehouse movement pattern, work-order and Job Card execution flow, and traceability-oriented navigation so the MES shell could represent one coherent operational path instead of separate manufacturing screens.
Workflow Illustration
The illustrated flow follows the active end-to-end chain in the current MVP: master data and ERP sync prepare references, PPIC releases Work Order Stamping, leaders open Job Card, execution continues through manual or OEE mode, valid output enters the movement queue, then the material travels through WIP Supermarket or Final Inspection, FI Movement, Warehouse FG & Delivery, and finally into dashboard and traceability visibility.
Documented Operational Flow
- Master data and ERP sync prepare product, BOM, routing, machine, shift, employee, and partner references.
- PPIC creates or receives Work Order Stamping, then leaders manage sequence and open Job Card.
- Job Card becomes the official start point for manual execution or OEE/PLC execution.
- Valid stamping output enters an output queue before Stamping Movement sends it to WIP Supermarket or Final Inspection.
- Final Inspection, FI Movement, and Warehouse FG & Delivery continue the chain toward finish good and shipment readiness.
- Traceability and MES Dashboard are expected to read auditable transaction and event references across the full flow.
Key Capabilities
- Work order and Job Card visibility across execution, WIP, and final inspection stages.
- Reusable movement flow for request, picking, check OK, print movement, and destination transfer.
- Traceability path from raw material, movement, and production output through FI, FG, and delivery.
- Role-based Laravel Blade shell for MES, warehouse, quality, ERP sync, and traceability modules.
Tech Stack
Laravel 11, PHP 8.3, Blade, JavaScript, Tailwind CSS, MySQL, Playwright, GitLab, Linux Server, systemd.
Current Status
Status: Internal MES MVP in active progress. The current focus is hardening transaction flows into DB-backed endpoints, stock ledger writes, genealogy references, and trace events without breaking the existing pilot workflow for stamping, WIP, welding assembly, inspection, and FG movement.
